In response, the Gaza Strip gas station owners’ organization has refused to accept any further incomplete fuel shipments from Israel. Representatives of the Organization site the affects that the decrease of fuel will have on Gaza: “the functioning of the hospitals, the water and sewage systems, home medical equipment, refrigeration of food and medicine and other vital systems necessary to safeguard the health of the population.” All of these things require fuel, without which there will be a major humanitarian crisis.
